1. Why we verify
US carriers and telecom rules expect providers to know who uses each number. Verification also protects customers from fraud and keeps our numbers usable.
2. Who is verified
Every customer is verified before a number is activated. We may ask again later if information changes or we see unusual activity.
3. What we may ask for
- The name and contact details of the person who will use the number.
- A government-issued identity document.
- For a company: its legal name, registration number, address and the role of the person ordering.
- A description of how the number will be used.
- Other documents we reasonably need to complete the check.
4. Outcome
We aim to complete review within [activation time, for example 1 to 2 business days]. We may approve, ask for more information, or decline. If we decline or cannot complete verification, we refund the amount paid, less any non-recoverable carrier costs.
5. One customer, one use
Numbers are not shared between customers. Identity documents must belong to the customer or an authorised representative.
6. How we handle your documents
Documents are used only for verification and legal compliance, are stored with access controls and are kept as long as the law requires. See the Privacy Policy.
7. Sanctions and restricted regions
We do not serve people or entities subject to applicable sanctions, and we may decline orders connected to restricted regions.
