1. Scope
This policy covers every text message sent from or received on a HynoConnect number. It applies in addition to the Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Consent
You may send a marketing or promotional message only to a person who has given clear prior consent to receive it from you. Keep a record of that consent. Consent obtained for one purpose cannot be used for another.
3. Opt-out
Every marketing message must tell the recipient how to stop messages. You must honour STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL and similar requests immediately and stop messaging that person.
4. Identification
Messages must say who is sending them. Do not hide or falsify the sender.
5. Prohibited content
- Phishing, scams and deceptive content.
- Illegal goods or services, and content that the law restricts without the right licence.
- Hate, harassment, threats or sexually explicit content.
- Messages that mislead the recipient about who sent them.
6. Carrier rules
US carriers filter and may block messages they consider unwanted. Registration of a brand or campaign may be required for some kinds of traffic. We do not guarantee delivery of any message.
7. Enforcement
We may block messages, suspend a number or terminate service for breaches, and may share information with carriers and authorities.
